Titanex Engineering offers a complete range of high grade machining taps manufactured from premium HSS and HSS-E (cobalt) materials, designed for accurate internal thread cutting in a wide variety of metals.

Blind Hole Taps

Spiral flute design pulls chips upward and out of the hole, making them ideal for blind (non-through) holes where chip clearance is critical.

Through Hole Taps

Spiral point (gun) taps push chips forward ahead of the tap, ideal for through holes with continuous cutting and high production rates.

Select the correct tap drill size before tapping. Use cutting fluid for steel; use proper lubricant for aluminium. Reverse regularly to break chips in deep holes.
